Even the most asthmatic old 305 would seem pretty impressive by comparison. Of course, traffic and performance expectations have changed quite a bit between 1947 and 2007.<br/><br/>As a matter of fact, I don't think there is a heater! Both are from a 1979 El Camino. Although this ought to be a serviceable drivetrain, it does lacks chutzpah (consider a certain Caprice we both knew). I have definitely not ruled out more interesting motors or transmissions, but it is good to have this modest combination available. There are lot of other extra parts included - a spare hood, roof, and doors - so once I've taken stock of everything and figured out how to proceed, there will most likely be a few things that I'd eventually like to sell, anyway.<br/><br/>I'll be sharing more info soon. As goes without saying, this will be a collaborative project (in many cases, by necessity).
